Signal Private Messenger is a chat and instant messaging app created by Signal Foundation - a non-profit company developed by the co-founder of WhatsApp, Brian Acton, and Moxie Marlinspike. This VoIP service became more popular after WhatsApp revealed that it would share its data with Facebook. Users that were not happy with this change began considering switching to Signal Private Messenger. The software is easy to use; it has been around since 2018 and has a devoted security community.

Is Signal Private Messenger safe?
